Senior Business Analyst

£80,000 - £85,000


An exciting opportunity for a
Senior Business Analystto join one of our clients, who are a multinational reinsurance company and number one in their space You will be an integral member of the delivery team working closely with stakeholdersacross the business to support delivery of outcomes to drive business value.


Main Responsibilities:


  • Capture, define, prioritise, document and explain business requirements based on project objectives and outcomes
  • Work in alignment with external partners ways of working including specific tools e.g., JIRA/Confluence/DevOps
  • Provide expertise across ecosystem builds including any technical integrations and liaison with third party providers where applicable
  • Contribute to product roadmaps and backlog refinement/ requirements/story elaboration
  • Responsible for mapping of endtoend customer journey and process flows to support target state operating models
  • Produce and manage requirements/user stories and acceptance criteria
  • Ensure interfaces between all partners, service providers and internal stakeholders are understood, meet requirements and work seamlessly through extensive testing (where required)
  • Support internal project workstreams with elaborating requirements encompassing product, pricing, finance, operations, data and all touchpoints of a customer journey
  • Work in alignment with testing colleagues to define test scope and strategy and support with test execution where required
  • Plus any additional duties and responsibilities that may reasonably be expected to be undertaken in accordance with the role.
  • Help drive forward good Conduct for the business to deliver the best outcomes for customers and policy holders

Key Skills & Experience:


  • Demonstrable ability in business analysis and associated tools/techniques
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills
  • Strong communication, facilitation, presentation & negotiation skills
  • Ability to build and sustain strong working relationships with a variety of internal and external stakeholders
  • Understanding of wider business goals and the impact business analysis has on them
  • Knowledge of insurance policy administration, policy lifecycles and workflows
  • Experience writing user stories and acceptance criteria
  • Must thrive in a fastpaced, timecompressed and dynamic environment
  • Ability to work independently and take responsibility for delivery of requirements
  • Desirable experience includes Agile, Agile Scrum, SDLC, Story Mapping, RESTful APIs etc.
