About the Role


You'll be part of a small but high-profile team, working in a fast-paced environment which is the beating heart of Council's efforts to share critical information with residents and partners, and engage with them on important issues.


You will work with the Senior Marketing Officer to deliver the Council's Communications and Marketing Strategy with a strong focus on creating engaging content across our social media channels.

You will plan, prepare and manage the publication and distribution of a wide range of publicity materials. You will also help devise marketing campaigns to support our vision and corporate priorities.


About you


You will be a highly motivated and organised worker with specialist knowledge of marketing, and the ability to provide advice on the marketing and digital elements of wider communications plans.


You will be able to manage multiple projects at once and have at least two years' experience of delivering marketing campaigns.


You will have flair for turning complex facts and data into easy-to-understand information and have strong copywriting skills and solid experience in using social media in working environment.

You will also be able to film and edit short videos for our digital channels.

Additional Information
Flexibility will be required to work outside core hours as evening meetings need to be covered sometimes.
