An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Assistant Psychologist post within the Memory Assessment Service (MAS). The post will provide a high quality assessment service to people who may have a dementia.


There is a long history of clinical psychology in MHSOP and the department has strong links with the Trent Clinical Psychology training course.

The successful applicant will work under the supervision of an experienced Clinical Psychologist. The post holder will work as part of the diagnostic service providing neuropsychological assessments to aid in diagnosis.

The post holder should have the ability to travel across the county of Nottingham and Nottinghamshire.

The role will require previous experience of neuropsychological assessment, preferably in an older adult context. The ability to work alongside colleagues from a variety of other disciplines and excellent communication skills are essential.


The post requires an individual with psychology degree 2.1 or above and who is eligible for graduate basis for registration from BPS.
