Hybrid Role


Working within the projects' team in Secondsight, our employee benefits division, this client facing role manages the successful onboarding of new clients,and introducing new servicesto existing clients.

Services are typically group pensions or financialeducation related.

You will be the lead on these projects, working closely with our clients' HR teams. You will be the main point of contact and responsible for the successful delivery of each project. This hands on role will also see you delivering some aspects of the project/susing your pensions knowledge and experience.

You will be responsible for delivering a number of projects simultaneously from conception to delivery. This includes understanding the client and Partner(Employee Benefit Adviser) requirements, priorities and budget and delivering against these.

You willplan each phase,analysing the progress of eachproject, co-ordinating and briefing other departments involved in the project, to make sure they are aware of their role and responsibilities and you will take ownership of any risks or issues.


This role requiresstrong and provengroup pensions knowledge, including auto-enrolment and salary sacrifice, as the role requires you to be involved in delivering and leading, technical aspects of the project/s.

Whilst project management qualifications arenot necessarily needed, some project management experience, and/or skills are desirable. A high level of attention to detail and organisational skills are a must.

You will also guide and coach less experienced members of the team.

Excellent communication with all stakeholders of the project (internal and external) is key to the success of this role.


Main Responsibilties:

  • Run successful projects to support the Partners in winning new corporate clients and increasing the value to, and from, existing clients.
  • To provide technical pensions expertise for the successful delivery of projects.
  • To be hands on in the delivery of each project.
  • To keep uptodate with the latest pension and financial education knowledge and thinking.
  • Be proactively involved in delivering a consistently high quality of service to clients within our agreed process and service standards.
  • Assist in monitoring the quality of outputs particularly relating to any client facing documents or communications.
  • Maintain good communication between the key stakeholders of each project to ensure all relevant parties understand their role, the status and progress of work.
  • Manage and resolve issues raised in a prompt, polite and professional manner at all times. Work with providers to improve their levels of service where appropriate
  • Follow the handover process so that we can deliver good outcomes for Partners and their clients in the most efficient way.
  • Proactively obtain feedback from Partners and clients assisting the Project Team Leader to ensure that the team continue to develop and delight clients.
  • Guide and coach less experienced members of the team.
  • To have a good understanding of the advice process, Foster Denovo's systems and processes and the regulatory requirements imposed by the FCA, and ensure these are reflected in the tasks performed.
  • Ability to think laterally, challenge current process, and find ways to improve the service.
  • Participate in training which could involve the Training Department, F2F training, or group presentations.
  • Keep up to date with FD compliance policies and procedures to ensure that services are delivered in a professional manner
  • To undertake any other duties commensurate with skills and experience; as a growing business the employee must be willing and able to adapt to different situations and be prepared to assist with any necessary tasks as benefits the business.
  • Able to delegate whilst retaining accountability
  • Able to consistently deliver projects on time and within budget
  • To participate in appropriate company and departmental training, competence and development initiatives.
  • To continuously meet, the regulator's Fit & Proper requirements.
