Our client, a global IT services provider is seeking IT Support Engineers to join its Docklands based office.These are permanent roles, working Monday to Friday, 9am - 5.30pm.
As IT Support Engineer, you will support with a range of technical tasks, as well as helping to deliver new products and projects, in a timely and professional manner.
Amongst the responsibilities of the IT Support Engineer will be:- Managing mobile service alerts and fault calls from customers, as well as from internal divisions
- Updating and maintaining the trouble ticket system
- Notifying Line Managers of issues which require escalations
- Liaising with 3rd party suppliers as needed
- Attending customer meetings, as well as working on site when needed, to support issues, projects, or maintenance contract works
IT Support Engineer - what we're looking for:
- Solid experience within a similar role e.g. working as an IT Support Engineer
- CCNP/CCNA, JNCIP, MCSE, MCSA, VCP or equivalent certification is ESSENTIAL
- Proven track record of implementing and troubleshooting network or PC/server throughout OSI 7 layers
- Strong verbal and written communication skills proven customer service experience is essential
- The ability to multitask and manage time effectively
