About the Role
Here at Howden Group Holdings, we are transforming the way we deliver HR services to our business and this is an exciting time to join our evolving HR function as we look to drive commercially aligned and strategic HR support to our stakeholders.
As part of this accelerated growth agenda, we are looking for our next Leadership, Learning & Talent Curriculum Lead to join the team.
The Leadership, Learning & Talent Curriculum Lead will help shape and implement the delivery of curriculum specific content and interventions across Howden Group e.g.
This will mean having the ability to work and influence different stakeholders across our business and develop a variety of learning experiences and resources to support their area of focus.
The LL&T team is comprised of 12 individuals responsible for devising thought leadership, frameworks and solutions to the Group (circa 15,000 in multi geographies).
You will be responsible for the design, implementation and management of key learning initiatives, as well as advising on best learning approaches including TNA, designing and creating high quality learning experiences, through a blended learning approach that supports the growth of the business.
Overall responsibilities include:
- Design, deliver and support experiences and resources to support specific curriculum's within Howden. Ensuring that they are fit for purpose and in line with our agile and responsive culture
- Works with internal stakeholders to develop a groupwide portfolio of learning and talent products and solutions. Supports on the diagnostic and design stages to ensure outcomes are commercially aligned.
- Partners with the business to establish usercentric solutions taking into consideration the full learning lifecycle e.g learning needs analysis, design, delivery, facilitation. Supports the business thinking to drive the right learning outcomes
- The role will support our Leadership, Learning & Talent Managers in new innovative thinking offered to people managers and employees, identifying ways to improve learning and talent initiatives to establish value and ROI
- Promotes a high performance culture based on identifying and developing talent to enable and drive the business to deliver their objectives, working with employees and empowering managers with the tools to build a more robust process / framework.
- Partners with fellow COE SME's, HRBP's and business clients at global and local level to agree communication plans to signpost the LL&T offering and drive engagement and support
- Manages specific programmes or initiatives in the delivery of their curriculum. May also support more broadly in LL&T interventions e.g.
- Works with vendors to source appropriate solutions and manages external contractors (where appropriate).
- Supports the ongoing review and evaluation of the LL&T portfolio of interventions and materials
- An experienced learning professional, selfstarter with a minimum of 5 years' experience in a Learning and development role and with specific depth and breadth in their curriculum
- Experience of designing learning content and working with external providers
- Proven facilitation skills in both virtual and inperson settings
- Knowledge of LinkedIn Learning and Workday (desirable)
- Excellent communicator and stakeholder management skills keeping the relevant individuals informed and engaged when delivering projects including HRBP
- Ability to juggle multiple projects and priorities
- Experience of working on global projects within matrixed organisations, understanding the need to collaborate across functions and not work in isolation
- Experienced in team collaboration
