Responsibilities:


  • Produce visually appealing and innovative designs, including graphically animated sequences, that effectively communicate Islamic Aid's mission and objectives.
  • Collaborate closely with the marketing and fundraising teams to understand project requirements, target audience, and marketing objectives.
  • Conduct thorough research to ensure the successful marketing of products aimed at Islamic Aid's diverse donor base.
  • Plan and organize work effectively, establishing and maintaining monitoring systems to ensure timely completion of projects.
  • Demonstrate flexibility and adaptability in responding effectively to requests for briefs and deadlines.
  • Work collaboratively within crossorganizational teams, fostering a cooperative and supportive environment.
  • Utilize specialist knowledge of graphic design software, including InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator, to create highquality designs.
  • Occasionally travel to attend meetings and training sessions that may involve overnight stays.
  • Display empathy with the aims, goals, and values of Islamic Aid and maintain a commitment to supporting the organization in achieving its objectives.
  • Proven experience of producing designs from the concept stage, including storyboarding and presenting ideas creatively.
  • Create graphic design assets for both print materials and online/social media channels.

Requirements:


  • Qualification or relevant experience in Graphic Design.
  • Minimum of 34 years of professional experience in graphic design.
  • Artistic ability to produce graphically animated sequences.
  • Creative and innovative approach to work.
  • Excellent research skills to successfully market products aimed at IR's diverse donor base.
  • Excellent planning and organizational skills, including the ability to plan own work and establish monitoring systems.
  • Flexibility and adaptability to respond effectively to requests for briefs and deadlines.
  • Cooperative and supportive team player, capable of working within crossorganizational teams.
  • Specialist knowledge of using graphic design software (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator).
  • Experience in UI (User Interface) and UX (User Experience) design, with the ability to create userfriendly digital interfaces.
  • Ability to occasionally travel for meetings or training involving overnight stays.
  • Empathy with the aims, goals, and values of Islamic Aid, with a commitment to supporting delivery to meet these.
  • Proven experience of producing designs from the concept stage.
  • Experience in storyboarding and presenting ideas creatively.
  • Experience in producing graphic design assets for print.
  • Experience in producing graphic design assets for online and social media channels.

Salary:
£30,000.00-£45,000.00 per year
