Learner User Experience Lead - 12 months FTC

As a Barclays Learner User Experience Lead, you will be joining our Design team and manage the User Experience and Content design.

This is an exciting opportunity for you to be a significant part of a knowledgeable team where you will showcase your expertise by developing and measuring the learning programmes and solutions that support the HR business agenda in line with Barclays defined quality standards, including Brand and Accessibility.

Working Flexibly

What will you be doing?:


  • Cooperating and contracting with Stakeholders & Learning Leads to agree the scope of learning requirements
  • Ensuring the effective translation of business needs and requirements into learning proposals
  • Managing the detailed resources and budget planning required for solution build
  • Designing and developing new learning solutions or experiences and improving existing solutions and associated materials
  • Sourcing quality content from across the Barclays Group, or via external approved Learning Supplier
  • Reviewing the evaluation of Management Information (MI) from learning solutions and working with Curriculum Lead to ensure continuous improvement of learning design

What we're looking for:


  • Experience in the design of learning solutions and/or delivery experience, and familiarity with the delivery of full Learning cycle, from needs analysis through to evaluation
  • Ability to use the Digital authoring tools (i.e. Learning Lab, Storyline, Infographics, Adobe Creative Cloud)
  • Project and Vendor Management experience
  • Good knowledge of learning frameworks, approaches and interventions

Skills that will help you in the role:

  • Prior experience of working in HR roles in large, complex organisations would be ideal but not essential
  • Knowledge of key HR processes, roles and responsibilities is advantageous

In the heart of Canary Wharf, our headquarters at Churchill Place boasts onsite amenities such as: a gym, staff restaurant and deli bar, and it is easily accessible by tube and bus links.

With a population of around 5000 staff the atmosphere is second to none with a real buzz being created around the offices within.
