At a glance, your role will involve the following:

Ensuring the electrical, mechanical and computerised components of preservation systems are assembled correctly and operate within tolerance.
Assembly and configuration of factored refrigeration units
Using a variety of hand & power tools, soldering irons, small pedestal drills and bench grinders; all within established safety procedures
Creating electrical looms and electromechanical subassemblies.
Ensuring finished products meet our strict Quality Control standards.
Using manual handling equipment such as pallet trucks.
Coordinating and managing the despatch of all orders.
Managing and reporting stock and inventory.
Involvement in daytoday relationships with suppliers.
Maintaining computerised customer records accurately.
Supporting the Production Manager with coordination and contact between the daytoday production team and the senior/management staff.

Skills required:

Level 2 Engineering Apprenticeship
A minimum of 2 years assembly experience (or similar)
A good understanding of quality control principles
Excellent time management
Be a selfmotivated, team player with a positive, can do attitude
Be able to carry out tasks with mínimal supervision
Work accurately and demonstrate attention to detail & focus
You must have manual dexterity and good handeye coordination.
Ideally you will have a forklift truck certificate and a clean full driving license
