The role is suited to an individual who is keen to join to join a small, motivated and committed team in our factory at Martlesham Heath.

- Ensuring the electrical, mechanical and computerised components of preservation systems are assembled correctly and operate within tolerance.
- Assembly and configuration of factored refrigeration units
- Using a variety of hand & power tools, soldering irons, small pedestal drills and bench grinders; all within established safety procedures
- Creating electrical looms and electromechanical subassemblies.
- Ensuring finished products meet our strict Quality Control standards.
- Using manual handling equipment such as pallet trucks.
- Coordinating and managing the despatch of all orders.
- Managing and reporting stock and inventory.
- Involvement in daytoday relationships with suppliers.
- Maintaining computerised customer records accurately.
- Supporting the Production Manager with coordination and contact between the daytoday production team and the senior/management staff.
Skills required:
- Level 2 Engineering Apprenticeship
- A minimum of 2 years assembly experience (or similar)
- A good understanding of quality control principles
- Excellent time management
- Be a selfmotivated, team player with a positive, can do attitude
- Be able to carry out tasks with mínimal supervision
- Work accurately and demonstrate attention to detail & focus
- You must have manual dexterity and good handeye coordination.
- Ideally you will have a forklift truck certificate and a clean full driving license
