Description

We are looking to recruit a Weighbridge Operator to join our clients production team based in Avonmouth Docks.

This is a great opportunity for someone to gain a variety of experience, dealing with the control of all vehicles on and off the site.

As a Weighbridge Operator you are required to actively manage planned intake of materials and the dispatch of finished products with quality checks performed on all loads, and make sure materials are routed to the correct storage locations.

Duties will include but aren't limited to:

Weighing all vehicles moving in and out of the site, ensuring waste transfer notes are received/issued as required.
Updating multiple spreadsheets to accurately control data on inbound and outbound loads, support multiple storage sites.
Controlling traffic flow within the weighbridge area.
Updating spreadsheets with accurate information, ensuring tonnages are recorded correctly.
Ensuring all site visitors sign in the visitor's book and have appropriate PPE.
Reporting any weighbridge defects to the site manager.
Assisting in production of outbound paperwork.
Good communication skills.
Good telephone manner.
Organisational skills.
Able to work with minimum supervision.
