A leading End-point Assessment Organisation are looking to bring in a Compliance Officer to working within a compliance team to ensure that all risk associated with the delivery of assessment of all apprenticeship Standards are effectively managed.

An Ofqual approved end-point assessment (EPA) organisation. Specialising in delivering high quality and flexible EPAs for digital apprenticeships.
They work with employers, colleges, and training providers, and are committed to providing the best possibleexperience to the apprentice to enable them to fulfil their potential.
A day in the life:
It is the responsibility of the compliance officer to ensure that all risk associated with the delivery of assessment of all apprenticeship Standards is effectively managed.
The compliance officer will plan, conduct and record sampling activities, loggingand escalation of risk on a daily basis and support the execution of the annual compliance plan including the Annual Statement of Compliance.
They will contribute and report to the weekly Moderation/Compliance meeting, feeding back on risk ratings, sampling,challenges, and areas for development.
The role also includes managing all compliance registers to ensure EPA organisation compliance with the Ofqual General Conditions of Recognition.
Day-to-day activities include:
- Sample apprenticeship ACE360 records, data and documentation in line with the Compliance plan.
- Sample assessment activities in line with the compliance plan.
- Carry out audit and investigation work as required.
- Complete weekly risk report.
- Manage the conflict of interest, version control and risk registers.
- Carry out due diligence on new centres, also annual review of current centres.
- Manage the daily identification of operational risk within the business and escalation where appropriate.
- Ensure all compliance and policy documentation is completed fully and reviewed in accordance with the annual review plan.
- Maintain the integrity of all apprenticeship Standards by reporting any suspected malpractice or maladministration.
- Support the Director of Compliance with the completion of the annual Ofqual Statement
- Contribute to the writing and development of internal policies.
Skills and Experience:
- Occupational experience (minimum of three years).
- Preferred experience within a regulated industry.
- Preferred awareness of digital apprenticeship Standards.
- Significant compliance/audit experience.
- Competent in following processes, policies, and regulatory requirements.
- Presenting and reporting data.
- Identifying risks.
- Ability to write and communicate reports and policies.
- Attention to detail.
- Ability to interpret assessment governance and guidance documentation.
- Ability to follow processes and understand assessment requirements.
- Provide a high quality of customer service to both internal and external stakeholders.
- Ability to identify risks and solutions.
- Time management and prioritisation.
