Smile Stylist presents an exciting full-time opportunity for a professional and empathetic professional to join our team at our luxury state-of-the-art private dental practice based in Manchester City Centre as a Dental Patient Liaison Officer.
We are seeking a highly motivated and pro-active individual to fulfil this role within our busy Private Dental Practice based in the city centre of Manchester.
You will be responsible for the smooth running of the patient's pathway delivering excellent communication skills, written and verbal with the ability to work as part of a team as well as independently.
Main duties of the job:
- Implement all administrative processes along the patient pathway to ensure the patient's journey is managed efficiently, smoothly and in accordance with targets and agreed timescales.
- Utilise, maintain and update computerised tracking systems
- Liaise with Treatment Coordinators where appropriate to ensure a seamless patient journey.
- Ensure patient information is maintained and updated
- Schedule appointments making best use of the dentist's time
- Managing correspondence
- Following up leads and booking consultations building rapport with patients
- Carrying out requests from management as needed
- Answering phone calls and transferring them as necessary
- Booking in lab work and updating patient records on Dentally dental software
- Billing and maintaining patient records
- Assisting with lab tasks as needed i.e. chasing lab work if not received
- Assisting with general office tasks as needed
- Good standard of secondary education with literacy and numeracy skills demonstrable to GSCE pass level or equivalent standard.
- Proficient in all aspects of Microsoft Office.
- Administrative and organisational experience.
- Ability to work under pressure.
- Excellent telephone / communication skills.
- Able to learn and assimilate complex information quickly.
- Proven ability to work to deadlines, prioritise and multitask
- Friendly and approachable manner
- Polite, sympathetic, patient and diplomatic.
- Reliability good time keeping.
- Highly motivated, friendly, flexible, reliable and organised, able to multitask
- You will be IT literate and have strong attention to detail
- Promoting a professional image and being knowledgeable about the services the practice provides
- Providing patients of the practice with a warm welcome and making them feel at ease
- Answering the telephone in a friendly, helpful and courteous manner
- Making all the necessary patient checks in accordance with practice policy
Pay:
£23,108.00-£25,177.00 per year
