The Industrial Work Solutions UK who operates as an employment business are currently looking for
Press Brake Operatives for a busy production facility in the
Preston area. This opportunity is to work with one of our leading clients in the Engineering sector


Key Roles and Responsibilities

Operation of Press Brake

Setting of programs

Use existing programs and set tooling accordingly

Write new programs and set tooling accordingly

Maintenance of tooling

Health and safety awareness


They will show good knowledge of the press brake process and the ability to determine condition of tools and point of re-sharpening.

A background with sheet metal will be considered advantageous.


Skill Requirements

They must be able to work accurately to deadlines in a busy and pressurised environment and demonstrate flexibility; in return for which a competitive salary will be offered.

The ability to work with mínimal supervision will be essential Applicants should also be flexible to work overtime and some weekends as the role requires

Salary:
£11.00-£14.00 per hour

  • 10 hour shift
  • 8 hour shift

Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Kendal: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

Experience:

Press Brake Operator: 1 year (preferred)
