Damp & Mould Project Officer - Greenwich Council

Rate - Negotiable 3/6 months contract.

Main duties include:

  • Expected to act as damp and mould liaison and work directly with residents to undertake coordination of works on larger damp projects (for example arrange storage of items, be the main contact, working closely with surveyors and tenants who may be very distressed or reluctant to allow works progression and to provide assurance, to ensure quick and smooth completion)
  • To coordinate and work closely with all teams within R&I & other departments to act as the main coordinator for existing and proposed projects to avoid duplication and take forward required actions relating to damp & mould (e.g., working with capital projects teams where major works are planned or need to be added/brought forward to resolve ongoing issues)
  • Coordinating and management of existing works orders to ensure existing backlog, new jobs are undertaken in a timely manner with continual updates to all stakeholders (tenants, surveyors, managers, complaints etc).
To manage complex & specific tasks relevant to the team, take ownership, write up procedures.

To be able to works in a very busy and changing environment day to day unsupervised.
