Milk Education is partnered with a secondary provision in the heart of Trafford who cater to young people aged 11-19 with special educational needs.

All pupils have moderate or severe learning difficulties but many have additional needs such as autisticspectrum condition, social and emotional mental health and physical disabilities.


This nurturing school is looking to appoint a SEND Teaching Assistant to start immediately who can work on a full-time, long-term basis.

There is the possibility of being offered a permanent contract later down the line after successfully completing a threemonth probationary period.


The successful SEND Teaching Assistant will be supporting across a small class of 10-15 students at a time with SEMH/MLD.

They will be responsible for delivering high quality support, through assisting the class teacher in delivering the lesson objectivesto enable all students to make progress.

They will be expected to work closely with fellow teachers, head of school and other support staff to deliver best practice.


The SEND Teaching Assistant will be given their own timetable which will be split across various classes including Maths, RE, English and Humanities.

The school are looking to hold interviews over the next two weeks (WC 23/01/23 and 30/01/23)
