The children, staff and Governors wish to recruit an enthusiastic, highly motivated and capable activity club assistant to play a key role in the development of our Nursery lunch club.


Experience of working with children/young people in a school environment is essential for this job, as well as the ability to communicate effectively with pupils, parents and staff members.


  • Nursery 11:25am to 12:35pm, Monday to Friday (term time only).
The role will include

  • Preparing the rooms for Nursery lunch club and play activities
  • Promoting and encouraging good table manners and health eating
  • Promoting and encouraging games and activities at lunchtime
  • Working as a team with the other staff and liaising with teachers as needed
  • Ensuring appropriate behaviour and dealing with any issues during the club
  • Following school policies and procedures
