We have an existing team of 3 Paraplanning colleagues who have a vast range of experience in supporting our Financial Planners and supporting good client outcomes.

About the Role
Paraplanning Team Leader and Paraplanner - Dual Role

As a Paraplanning Team Leader you'll be part of a critical team, supporting and co-ordinating the work allocation and flow for all Paraplanning staff, whilst also ensuring that all Financial Planners are supported by at least one of the Paraplanning team, so they optimize their time in front of clients.
You will also be expected to conduct regular paraplanning work to support the overall Regional workload for the wider teams.
You'll work collaboratively with other regional team leaders including providing oversight of new business processing, implementation, and planned review activity within the required regulatory time scales to mitigate risk of disengagements and remediation.
You'll have to identify where the team needs development and implement plans to improve performance, this will be more apparent when you observe pod meetings with the wider team including the Client Support, Planners and Paraplanners.
About You
To be successful in this role you'll have extensive experience working within a financial adviser firm having been a paraplanner and aspirations or some exposure to having led and or managed a small team closely.
As the Paraplanning Team Leader you'll have broad knowledge of the compliance, regulatory and T&C requirements to ensure Quilter Private Client Advisers is always within the necessary guidelines and parameters which will require you to have market and industry awareness.
In addition to this you will have excellent technical knowledge and be the first point of contact for technical queries from the paraplanning team.
You'll be acquainted with creating and developing pathways for better client experiences/outcomes, which includes overseeing suitable recruitment of well-suited individuals.
You'll be an expert in deriving action from MI/BI and be able to produce and express where MI is required whilst also understanding how to deliver and analyse Management Information relating to QPCA including production and servicing data.
You'll be incredibly skilled in Paraplanning and understand the complexities of the different types of business so that you can interrogate department production with ideally your combined knowledge and experience as the Paraplanning Team Leader.
