The Project Manager is to implement an effective project launch, while liaising closely with Sales, Purchasing, Manufacturing and Quality departments to ensure that all delivery and quality criteria have been assessed.


Responsibilities:


  • To ensure that Quality Standards to BS EN ISO 9001 are maintained and that the quality of all products supplied conform to our own quality standards as well as our customers.
  • Ensure all health and safety regulations are observed and maintained. To promote and encourage effective communication.
  • Assist in implementation of total quality and process improvement. Training plan HB0298
  • Produce and maintain clear project plans and schedules
  • Identify any slippage or risk to schedules, develop recovery/mitigation plan
  • Ensure correct reporting of additional costs to project are reported and agreed where appropriate
  • Attend preproduction meetings internally and externally with Customer
  • Produce management reports as required for management meetings
  • Liaise with and inform relevant department of any changes in delivery requirements
  • Maintain accurate reporting against multiple projects via customer interface/portal
