Newquay Foodbank is looking for a Graphic Designer to join our growing Communications Team.
This is a key role for the Foodbank in creating content to help promote Newquay Foodbank across online and print.

By volunteering as a Graphic Designer, you will be responsible for creating content to help promote Newquay Foodbank, all while making a real difference to people's lives providing vital help and support at a time when they need it most.
What will you be doing?
- Creating publicity and marketing materials to support Foodbank events and activities
- Supporting the creation of visual content for Newquay Foodbank social media accounts
- Developing, alongside the Communications Lead, and overseeing brand guidelines for Newquay Foodbank
The skills you need:
- Graphic design experience
- Good IT skills, including graphic design software such as Photoshop or Canva
- Ability to listen and engage with people from a diverse range of backgrounds and experiences
- Ability to get on with others and be part of a team as well as completing tasks independently
- A willingness to learn about our organisation and our place within the Trussell Trust and align to our campaigns
- Access to graphic design software
- Organised and able to complete tasks accurately with good attention to detail

- Treat all foodbank users with dignity and respect, whilst maintaining confidentiality as set out in our Confidentiality Agreement
- Read and abide by the Newquay Foodbank's Policies and Procedures, including agreeing to and attending any training required to undertake your role
- Meet time and other commitments as agreed
