The Mediation Coordinator will be the first point of contact for clients seeking our services and will manage a busy and varied case load.

The Coordinator will be responsible for progressing referrals and administering case information, complying with relevant standards and running an efficient case management process, in liaison with our teams of family & workplace mediators, who conduct the mediations.


The pandemic has seen an increase in disputes within families and work colleagues - as a result, mediation is now even more in demand.

We are a growing organisation who adapted quickly and effectively to the COVID pandemic and are committed to making our services accessible to all sectors of our communities.

Applicants will be required to be on-site in the office when clients attend in person. There is scope for some home working, by arrangement. Hours of work will involve occasional weekends and evenings, when Time Off In Lieu (TOIL) will be allowed.

The successful applicant will be supported in their professional development. There will be opportunities for co-working with other services and relevant training.


Person Profile
- (Essential) Enthusiastic, customer service-oriented personality, with the ability to resolve problems and act quickly if situations arise
- (Essential) Excellent numeracy and written communication skills with the ability to deal confidently and empathetically with service users and stakeholders. Clear and articulate oral communication
- (Essential) Methodical approach to work, with ability to pay close attention to detail, including compliance with relevant standards and to undertake procedures accurately and effectively
- (Essential) Proficient computer skills, including experience of the Microsoft Office suite, plus aptitude for using database systems.

  • Competency to progress casework at high quality level. Knowledge of case management systems is desirable
  • Ability to navigate online platforms like Zoom and Teams
- (Essential) Team player - with Family & Workplace teams and with other services

  • Ability to deliver high productivity, capable of accurate processing and achieving deadlines
  • Being a trained mediator in any field is beneficial but not required
