Tempting Recruitment are working alongside our client, a London based Law Firm, who are looking to recruit an experienced Risk and Compliance Coordinator to join their team based in the London area.


JOB DETAILS

  • PAY RATE: £37,000
  • WORK TYPE: Fixed Term Contract
  • WORK PATTERN: Full Time

JOB SUMMARY
You will offer a centralised client and matter initiation service. Onboarding new clients and routine general inquiries will fall under your purview.

You will handle database administration duties and keep up-to-date knowledge and comprehension of internal rules and processes for client initiation.

The duties and responsibilities of the role will include:

  • Conducting computerised searches and determining each client's particular requirements for client due diligence (CDD) and enhanced due diligence (EDD)
  • It is your responsibility to acquire and maintain thorough knowledge of client due diligence obligations as well as antimoney laundering and financial crime regulations.
  • Keeping thorough knowledge of how to define and pinpoint the identity of the ultimate beneficial owner for each type of client the firm serves.
  • Conducting conflict searches for all clients, matters, and cases across the firm, both new and old

THE SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE

  • Experience managing conflict searches and ideally AML inquiries for at least three years in a legal setting
  • Possess a desire to work in risk
- and compliance-related fields

  • The capacity to recognise the client due diligence demands of corporate and private clients.
  • A thorough knowledge of the SRA Standards and Regulations.
