I am recruiting for a supplier company based in South Manchester. The Company is looking to employ a full-time Accounts/Office Manager, to work closely with the Finance Director. This vacancy is a permanent contract of 36.5 hours per week, salary negotiabledependent on experience.

If you are qualified and have experience of accounts administration using SAGE Business Cloud software and are looking for a new challenge where you will get involved with all aspects of running an office and a business, then this role could be for you.


Responsibilities:


  • First point of contact for all accounts queries
  • Prepare sales invoices and subcontract Payment Applications
  • Matching, batching and coding of supplier invoices against purchase orders and posting onto the ledger
  • Ensuring that all purchase invoices are authorised and coded correctly
  • Prepare and carry out payment runs monthly and issue remittances
  • Allocate direct debit payments to invoices
  • Reconcile supplier statements
  • Carry out weekly and monthly bank reconciliations to ensure books are accurate
  • Set up new suppliers and customers on Sage Cloud accounting software
  • Prepare VAT returns
  • Process staff expenses and company credit cards

Prepare monthly payroll

Other Responsibilities:


  • Process employee timesheets and collate working hours data
  • Process Daily Vehicle Checks
  • Record vehicle mileage and analyse MPG data
  • Assist with booking hotels and travel
  • Book training courses and update staff competency records
  • Maintain office filing systems and manage diaries
  • Other office administrative functions of the business
