What you will do:

Work closely with our product, tech and propositions teams designing and delivering outstanding feature improvements to service our digital customers.
Creating, delivering and launching new products, product features and user journeys with high usability (which are simple, easy to use and that customers love)
Building great relationships with Data, Product, Technology and Marketing teams to lead a collaborative process from discovery to delivery, to shape and define the user experience of both new and existing features
Defining the customer and business problems and leading the creation of prototype options as well as running user interviews to validate solutions
Reviewing the performance of releases to identify learnings and find ways to enhance them further
Being a design advocate and look for ways to continually strengthen our design practice
Providing development teams with support and guidance to help follow our design standards and our UX best practices
Finding solutions to design problems and extend our UX/UI toolkits and templates when required
Producing UX wireframes and Hi-Fidelity designs
Lead and facilitate collaborative workshops, creating detailed prototypes, wireframes, journey maps and other deliverables to help communicate ideas
Conduct effective user research and usability testing

What you will need:

Understand the risks associated with your job and what that means for you, Metro Bank and all our stakeholders
Previous experience designing digital online products for Web web and native apps
Some Financial services experience or previous exposure to FinTech is advantageous although not essential.
Experience working in a development team with understanding of Agile/Scrum methodology
Designing using Sketch/ figma and building clickable prototypes (using figma or other prototyping tools) to conduct user testing
