Description

We are looking for Full Time Support & Care workers to join our team at L'Arche supporting adults with a range of learning disabilities.

The Adults we support enjoy day trips, getting out and about, going swimming, walking, shopping.

This role requires flexibility, confidence, resilience and experience in care and support.

If you are highly motivated, have compassion, empathy, a willingness to take on a challenge and learn new skills, then come and be part of our team.

You should be able to work flexibly which will include evenings, weekends and public holidays

At L'Arche we support adults with a range of learning disabilities, autism and communication difficulties.

We are looking for caring people to support our service users to live as independently as possible in the way they choose.

Helping them to stay safe and healthy, and achieve outcomes within the Outcomes Based Support Plan.

If you have the right values, and transferable skills, we will support you with our comprehensive in-house training and induction programme which will count as credits toward your SVQ2 qualification.

We will also pay for your initial registration with the SSSC.

The rate for the Role is £10.90 per hour rising to £11.15 per hour for applicants with an SVQ2 and experience of Learning Disabilities.

Additional sleepovers are available and paid separately at £86.87 per night.
