Job description

  • The Directorate of Research & Enterprise at Queen's University Belfast, is currently seeking to appoint to the post of Global Partnerships Assistant.
  • The post holder will undertake the necessary due diligence checks on University partners and collaborators to support compliance with governmental, institutional, and/or funder requirements.
  • The post holder will be responsible for maintaining a centralised records system for due diligence and export control and will utilise tools available to complete the due diligence processes. They will coordinate the communication of supporting material to academic and professional support services colleagues, undertake assurance checks and monitor adherence. They will deliver a highly professional level of administration as the first point of contact for due diligence related enquiries and will assist with training and preparation of reports.
  • An honours degree, OR relevant academic or vocational qualifications e.g. 2 A-Levels at Grade D or above, or NVQ level 3, plus significant relevant experience.
  • Experience of providing advice and guidance in response to customer enquiries in complex, technical areas.
  • Demonstrable knowledge of relevant legislative frameworks and associated guidance within this Trusted Research agenda including due diligence and export control.
