We are looking for a motivated and driven person, who has experience of working with people with mental health difficulties and in particular those with affective disorders.

This post involves working closely with the ward physiotherapist and occupational therapist to ensure patient care and service delivery is of a high quality.

The post holder will be expected to assist in the assessment, formulation and delivery of interventions under the direction of a registered practitioner.

This role will involve working directly with patients to implement and support their therapy programmes, specifically following prescribed exercise plans, either on the ward, on-site gym or wider community if appropriate.

The post holder will also support in group facilitation on the ward in conjunction with the ward Occupational Therapist. This post is likely to involve some manual handling.
