Account Manager

Salary:
Up to £40,000 D.O.E

Location:
Hull

Hours:
Full-time, Monday - Friday

The Role:

Maintain accurate customer information within the company database
Support with sales forecasting and planning
Understand and comprehend customer requirements
Develop and continuously build customer relationships with emphasis on communication pathways, customer advocating, and advising on service solutions
Clearly identify the company's offerings to customers and the advantages of working the business
Maintain uptodate expert knowledge of customer contracts, service requirements, and the equipment provided
Observe all company and customer Health & Safety policies at all times
Work with internal and external stakeholders to finalise contracts
Work with internal sales operations team and technical team to coordinate proposal development and technology offering
Drive aftermarket growth through researching customer needs, developing and managing a pipeline within the customer portfolio, and driving opportunities and closing deals
Deliver against targets including sales, revenue, and management goals for the aftermarket revenue streams
Respond quickly and effectively to customer queries and formal quotes

The Person:

Degree in Engineering or Business related field
A minimum 5 years' experience in account management, sales support, customer service or project management
Strong communication, organisational and interpersonal skills
IT literate, with experience of Microsoft Office
Knowledge of SAP or similar ERP system, and CRM systems
Ability to selfmanage, collaborate with crossfunctional teams, and drive change management
Knowledge of technical drawings and understand technical questions
Ability to converse in English fluently, as well as a second language
Be able to travel as needed by the post
