Salary:
up to £29,000 per annum

Permanent Position

Our client, a specialist Electrical Engineering business based in the Rochdale area are looking for a Panel Wirer to join their team.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an Electrical Fitter / Panel Wirer to join a well run and an established company who are in a period of growth

Duties

To be able to mechanically assemble control panels from mechanical drawings, this function requires the use of power drills and hydraulic foot operated punches.
To wire electrical control panels from electrical schematics, some of which can be wired on a workbench, larger panels require wiring from floor level up to a height of 2 metres.
To be able and available to perform above work on customer premises. This could involve a certain amount of driving to / from site.
Must be able to achieve consistent performance levels in accordance with estimated hours.

Specific Responsibilities

Must work to the sites specific Health and Safety system when appropriate.
To ensure any required documentation is completed and handled in a professional manner and returned to the office personnel.
To ensure all returned materials are placed in the appropriate places, and not left in an area which may cause an obstruction and be danger to others.
Control and maintain all equipment / tools provided by the company.

38 Hours per week

Monday to Friday, early finish on a Friday

Location:
Rochdale

Salary:
Up to £29,000 depending on skills and experience

Overtime - 1.5 x hourly rate after 38 hours
