An excellent opportunity has arisen to join Kingdom Cleaning as a Area Mobile
Cleaner, working across several sites in and around the North East and Scotland.

Applicants must have cleaning experience and be able to travel to different areas using a company vehicle.

On average 40 hours per week. Various hours and shifts to suit the needs of business on core contracts and non core additional work.

Pay rate:
£23,000.00 per annum + Company van & fuel card provided.


Applicants must have a Clean UK Manual Driving licence.


The position of Mobile Cleaning Operative is to support the Contract Management and account management teams with the cleaning operation within their area of responsibility.

The post holder is responsible for motivating and training the cleaning operatives to meet the business objectives.

The post holder will implement, monitor, and control cleaning operations to ensure that Client and Company requirements are achieved.


Principle Duties and Responsibilities
The Mobile Cleaning operative, will be responsible for the cleaning of all areas within the contract. Achieving high standards, you will ensure the service is operated safely and hygienically.

Responsibilities:

A Mobile cleaner will be required to:

  • Travel to clean set areas in various buildings / sites.
  • Restock consumables as and when required.
  • Ensure rubbish bins are maintained and emptied.
  • Main duties will include Dusting, Mopping, vacuuming, wiping and scrubbing surfaces.
  • Experience of working in a customer facing environment.
  • Able to work individually and as part of a team.
  • Previous cleaning experience and knowledge
  • To receive, record and inform your Line Manager of any complaints in a timely and well received manner.
  • To know and understand Company values and ethos to ensure that this is disseminated throughout the business.
  • To support Contract Management team with, induction, training, new operatives, developing an efficient and effective workforce that is competent in the use of cleaning agents and machinery.
  • To report any grievance and disciplinary issues to your line manager and/or HR, as necessary, in line with the Company procedures.
  • To deal with and action all daytoday telephone calls, enquiries, messages.
  • To be able to carry out specialist cleaning operations, such as floor maintenance and carpet shampooing to be able train cleaning operatives to complete the necessary tasks.
  • Manage operational activities to ensure they meet with company and legislative requirements for Health and Safety, quality management, environmental issues and general duty of care.
  • Specialist projects as agreed with Contract Management team to support the needs of the Organisation.
  • Compliance to company policy, procedures & management reporting timetable.

Education Requirements
A sound educational background is required. Suitable and relevant qualifications to the industry would be advantageous.
