Job Summary

To control the accounts payable function for Foodhub Limited and Foodhub Group Limited ensuring that the VAT applied in the accounting system is accurate.

Responsibilities
∙Ensure that all invoices submitted have an approved purchase order number created in Zoho

∙Query any invoices that appear incorrect with the relevant teams

∙Ensure accurate record keeping

∙Ensure that prepayment summaries are accurate and that monthly journals are posted into the management accounts

∙Accurate fixed assets record keeping

∙Payment scheduling preparation for the management accountant each week

∙Statement reconciliations

∙Year end tasks for the accounts payable audit

Competencies
∙Education - Completed Level 3 AAT (minimum)

∙Experience - Basic knowledge of purchase ledger and VAT

Person Specification
∙Excellent Attention to detail

∙Great organisation skills

∙A strong ability to work cooperatively and collaboratively with all levels of employees

∙The ability to organise workload to meet strict deadlines
