Your new role:

The Head of Quality Management & Improvement will be responsible for Robertson Construction Group's Quality Management system, as well as leading and promoting a continuous improvement culture across all Robertson Construction Group business units and functions which combine to fulfil the requirements of RCG's project lifecycle.


What you'll do:


  • Responsible for the development, management and ownership of RCG's Continuous Improvement programme.
  • Working closely with business leaders to identify, develop and implement key continuous improvement initiatives which align with our strategic objectives and business unit plans
  • Lead and promote the use of industry recognised improvement methodologies and tools for the identification and implementation of improvement initiatives, e.g. Lean Six Sigma
  • Establish a comprehensive suite of governing Project Management Office (PMO) documentation
  • Self-Audit: Guide RCG's BFSs and BFOs in their development of quality assurance methods
  • Internal Audit: Assist the RCG Leadership Team in its appraisal of RG's Internal Audit process; provide support in the investigation of any significant instances of nonconformity
  • External Audit: Support RCG in its pursuit of relevant ISO accreditation, e.g. ISO 9001:2015 (Quality Mgt Systems); ISO 14001:2015 (Environmental Mgt Systems); ISO 45001:2018 (H&S Mgt); ISO &2:2018 (Building Information Modelling)

What you'll need:


  • Significant experience in the design, development and implementation of business systems.
  • A passion for quality management and continuous improvement.
  • Ability to manage multuple simultanrous projects while maintaining a deadline focus
  • Work on own initiaive actively identifying issues and opportunities for improvement
  • Excellent time maangement and communication skills
  • Good working knowledge of industry standards including ISO 31000, ISO 14001, OHSAS 18001 / ISO 4500
  • Extensive experience in the development and management of:
  • Quality Management Systems (ISO 9001)
  • Change Management Systems
  • Information Management Systems
  • Risk Management Systems
