We have been instructed on an exciting opportunity for a Private Client Chartered Legal Executive to join the Wills & Probate department of an award-winning law firm based in Ashby-de-la-Zouch.

This position would suit someone with previous fee earning experience from a Private Client background.

My client are a long-standing law firm, having been established for over 200 years and have expanded their presence across the Midlands.

The firm deals with a lot of private law including family, residential conveyancing, civil litigation, personal injury and private client.

The firm are a close knit team and provide a genuinely amazing and collegiate workplace for colleagues.

The role

You will be responsible for your own varied Private Client caseload, including Wills, LPAs trusts, probate and some Court of Protection
Along with your own caseload, you will also be supporting the Head of Department on more complex matters
Ideally, you will contribute directly towards general business development and helping to build up the department
Maintaining solid client communication and updating them at each stage of their case
You will be required to attend networking events to encourage new clients, new work and referrals
Maintaining the use of the firm's case management system

***- You must be a Chartered Legal Executive, or qualified by experience, from a busy Private Client background

In order to be considered for this position, you must be confident handling a varied caseload of Private Client matters with mínimal supervision
You will be a confident communicator with strong client care skills as you will be liaising with all walks of life
Strong attention to detail and ability to prioritise and organise your work effectively is essential to be successful in this role
