What will you be doing as our new Senior Planner?
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and Monitor Plans:
- Lead collaborative digital planning and production meetings to ensure clarity of requirements and expectations.
- Liaise with delivery teams to ensure consistency in methodology and outputs.
- Proactively identify opportunities and risks and explore mitigation strategies.
- Develop 4D animations of project plans to aid in digital rehearsal of construction.
- Gather progress information and communicate effects on key dates, challenging the team to deliver on time.
Communication of Plans:
- Attend site regularly to gather program update information.
- Communicate critical paths and key activities in team meetings.
- Advise the team on priorities to prevent activities from becoming critical.
- Attend meetings as required and provide projectspecific reports as needed.
Quality of Plans:
- Ensure integrity of project plans and actively participate in driving best practices.
- Ensure alignment between plans and cost forecasts.
A little bit about your skills, experience and behaviours.- Minimum five years of experience in large-scale projects within the Civil Engineering sector, preferably in the Water Industry.- Essential experience with P6 (Primavera).- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.- Proven ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.- Attention to detail and ability to manage complex project plans effectively.- Commitment to health and safety principles.
