£70,000 plus bonus & benefits.

This is a brand new role for this Hedge Fund and they are looking to add expertise to their existing team.

As Head of Building Performance & Environment you will be responsible for:

Strategic leadership as well as the operational management of Engineering and maintenance (and other related service services), ensuring that the day-to-day operation is delivered to a high standard with efficient and smart performance that aligns withcompany net Zero Carbon strategy.
Owning and driving company 'strategic pathway to net zero carbon' and ensure good environmental practices are followed at all properties, reporting to the Corporate Sustainability Committee and ultimately the board as necessary and bringing ambitious targetsto reality.
Ensuring that the company is compliant with all relevant regulatory and nonfinancial reporting requirements e.g., Black Buildings; water tests etc. and follows best practice in all of its activities.
Managing the engineering and maintenance services, waste management, utilities and all other contracts impacting sustainability for a multitenanted 11yearold landmark headquarters building (314k sqft) on the River Thames.
The respective service charge budget, oversight of effective maintenance, and managing all respective service charge costs.
You will also manage all Engineering and Environmental related matters for company global/other offices including Landlord and Tenant and contribute to new/renewal of leases to align with company property and environmental strategies

Business Continuity:

Incident response to ensure business continuity working closely with BORR
Review the Standard and Emergency Operating Procedures for all UK properties (TBC)
Assist with Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery planning and operations as required and working closely with BORR

Operational Risk
Ensure that legal standards and internal policies and procedures are always met.
