    Your World has a brilliant new opportunity for an experienced Band 6 Acute Adult Dysphagia Speech and Language Therapist with post graduate experience working with adult inpatient rehab and dysphagia.

     

    Job Description

    You will be joining an experienced and highly motivated team in Bath, working as a locum Speech and Language Therapist.

    The ideal candidate will have previously worked with adults as a post graduate therapist, bringing encouragement, support, and understanding of the varied patient needs they may encounter.

    Exceptional communication skills are essential to build strong relationships with patients, ensuring their individual needs are met.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Providing expert speech and language therapy services to adult patients with acute dysphagia
    • Developing and implementing individualized treatment plans to improve patient outcomes
    • Collaborating with healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care
    • Maintaining accurate records and reporting progress

    Requirements:

    • AHCPC approved degree in Speech and Language Therapy
    • Right to Work in the UK
    • Valid HCPC registration
    • Dysphagia Training and Competencies completed
    • NQP (Newly Qualified Practitioner) competencies completed
    • Post graduate experience working with dysphagia patients
