Sharp Consultancy is a leading recruitment agency that specializes in finance and accountancy roles.

We are looking for an Accounts Assistant to join a growing business based in Leeds and support our clients with their purchase ledger and sales ledger activities, as well as progressing onto high revel responsibilities.

The business has a subsidiary project which is working well, providing more work to ensure the growth continues.

  • Processing invoices and payments for purchase ledger
  • Reconciling supplier statements and resolving queries
  • Maintaining the sales ledger and chasing outstanding debts
  • Assisting with monthend and yearend closing procedures
  • Supporting the financial accountant with ad hoc tasks and projects
  • Previous experience in a similar role, with an interest in the fashion/clothing industry
  • AAT qualification or equivalent, or working towards one
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
  • Demonstrate the ability to work as a key team player, whilst also showing the initiative to work effectively independently
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines

Job Types:
Permanent, Full-time


Salary:
£22,000.00-£25,000.00 per year
