Applications are invited for a Researcher in Medical Statistics/Data Science/Epidemiology, to work within the Primary Care Epidemiology Group a team working with Professor Julia Hippisley-Cox and Dr Jenny Hirst on a research programmes utilising very large clinical research databases.
The successful applicant will provide support for a range of research activities within the Group with a strong focus on prediction modelling, primary care, and medication safety.
Responsibilities will include delivery of research projects in accordance with the research protocols, undertaking research into electronic health database linked to hospital, mortality and cancer registry data.
You will be based in the Radcliffe Primary Care Building, Nuffield Department of Primary Care Health Sciences, Radcliffe Primary Care Building, Woodstock Road, Oxford, OX2 6GG as your normal place of work but you may be able to agree a pattern of regular remote working with your line manager.
