Page Personnel are working with a well established FMCG manufacturing business to recruit a Sales Ledger on a permanent basis in their accountancy team.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a stable organising who value their staff, giving full responsiblyto the accounts receivable function, with some exposure to senior month end manufacturing processes working with the Management Accountant.

You will be joining a very capable workforce that offertraining and support to their team in order to develop your skills.

Description

The key responsibilities of the Sales Ledger include:

Raise all sales ledger invoices in a timely manner.
Accurate allocation of cash receipts.
Responsible for chasing debt and investigating and resolving any invoice queries.
Maintaining sales prices and discounts within the ERP system.
Set up and maintenance of customers, depots, finished goods records and EDI barcodes within the ERP system.
Providing the Head of Finance with details of overdue accounts.
Cover other finance team functions when necessary, including AP and costing duties

- _Ad hoc_ duties as required.

Profile

The successful Sales Ledger willl have:

Computer literate using MS Office and ERP systems.
Intermediate Excel skills an advantage.
Ability to work accurately within tight timescales.
Good interpersonal skills and ability to work on own initiative.
Cover other finance team functions when necessary.
Proven recent experience of sales ledger, credit control within a medium to large organisation.
