The Role


This position is primarily concerned with the compilation and ongoing maintenance of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Engineering Procedures (EPs) that are within the remit of Almac Engineering Services (AES).

As such the role holder will act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for completion of paper and electronic documentation, ensuring ongoing GxP compliance.


The role holder will control other aspects such as, training of personnel in SOPs/EPs, monitoring of documentation review compliance and the administration of training records for the AES team in the Leaning Management System (LMS).


Key Requirements

  • Have eligibility to work in the UK OR possess a valid work permit that will allow you to take up full time, permanent employment in the UK
  • HNC (or equivalent) within a Science, Engineering, Quality, Production Discipline.
  • Previous experience of compiling formal reports, procedures and process flows.
  • Significant experience of generation or completion of documentation in a highlyregulated environment.
  • Experience within either an Engineering, Quality, Production, Science or Commissioning/Validation environment.

Desirable Requirements

  • HND (or equivalent) within a Science, Engineering, Quality, Production Discipline.
  • Previous experience of compiling machine manuals.
  • Previous significant experience in a similar role within a GxP environment.
  • Working knowledge of regulatory requirements for the compilation, maintenance and completion of GxP documentation.
  • Experience in delivery of training.

Further Information
This role will be based on a flex working pattern.

This means you can work between the hours of 7am - 7pm with core working hours of 10:00 - 16:00.
