Trainee / School Leaver - Administrator, Securities Operations Service Delivery

What is the Opportunity?

An exciting trainee opportunity has arisen to join the Securities Operations department.

This opportunity would be ideal for a school leaver or a career switcher to start their career in the Wealth Management industry.


You will have the opportunity to complete rotational training within the Securities Operations Service Delivery team, supporting your development by gaining experience and understanding of a range of Operations processes including securities transaction processing, trade settlement, client administration, payment and Foreign Exchange (FX) processing, stock transfers, client valuations and fee collections.

After the completion of the rotational training programme you will perform in an Administrator role within the Securities Operations Service Delivery team.


During this trainee programme you will have the option to tudy for a relevant professional qualification, this is optional, and will be fully supported by RBC.

What will you do?

  • Account opening and closure requests
  • Review and approve payments, transfers and FX instructions initiated by front office
  • Review and ensure resolution for internal queries
  • Complete control reports for internal and regulatory requirements
  • Submit client static data changes to client data team
  • Trade settlement monitoring
  • Stock transfers
  • Investigate and update cash reconciliation reports

  • Doublechecks the accuracy of information received or own work to ensure it is correct and in keeping with expectations
