We are recruiting a new team to work on our exciting new Electronic Patient Record (EPR) programme.

Birmingham Women's and Children's NHS Foundation Trust is bringing in a new Electronic Patient Record.

This is major transformation programme that will affect almost all Trust employees, supporting them to provide better quality care for our patients and families.

We are currently recruiting for aDigital Specialist Pharmacy Lead for Birmingham Women's and Children's Hospital.

The EPR will be a big change for all our patient-facing teams, so we are looking for people with the energy, passion and resilience to manage the complexities and high risks involved to help us deliver this critical programme of work.

This role is available to also as a secondment to existing NHS Staff. Please contact the recruitment manager for more information.

The post holder will support EPMA system configuration, system development and testing. This will include training and supporting all staff involved with the ePMA process (pharmacy, prescribers, nurses)

They will work with the IM&T team and the Chief Clinical Information Officer to manage any issues arising to ensure that the ePMA system is fit for purpose

They will act as a champion for ePMA, engaging staff and promoting the benefits of ePMA

They will be part of the pharmacy team delivering services
