Designers report to a Creative Director.- Responsibilities_
Creativity:
- Deliver creativity that 'Creates Belief', meeting JDO's high standards of creative excellence
- Cooperate and participate as a member of the team, allowing yourself to be both challenged and inspired as the team strives for the best solution
- Bring original thinking to the table concepts that show your thorough understanding of the brief
- Present your work internally with clarity and confidence, and be able to relate your design solution directly to the challenges of brief
- Value constructive criticism and be open to feedback that strengthens your work
Work Ethic:
- Show up on time, every time; to start the day, to briefings, meetings and your own development as a designer
- Be a team player, willing to do all that you can to contribute to the success of the project, team and agency
- Effectively prioritise and manage your own projects to meet deadlines
- Be proactive, signalling when/if you're free
- Be a collaborator with a peripheral vision of the wider agency and how you fit into it
Curiosity:
- Stay ahead of trends and what happening in the design world, sharing your intelligence with the JDO team
- Be an active listener during briefings and reviews, asking questions whenever you need clarity
- Be confident to share your perspective
Experience Necessary
- A portfolio of highquality work that showcases clear thinking, original ideas and
- Initial industry experience as an intern or junior designer
- Ambition to work within the creative industry, specifically in brand, packaging,
