We are looking for a competent community care worker to provide support to people living at home in a professional and competent manner.
Nayland Care offers community care services to adults in various locations across Suffolk.The value of care workers was recognised during the Covid-19 pandemic and although it can be a demanding job, it can also be very satisfying and rewarding.
This position can be offered to sponsored applicants only if they are currently living within the Sudbury area

Responsibilities:
- Assisting people to take their medication
- Assisting people with their personal care needs
- Assisting people with mobility and access to the community when required
- Supporting people to follow prescribed exercise regimes to aid recovery from injury
- Supporting people with their shopping
- Undertaking light housework duties
- Providing companionship to people whilst maintaining professional boundaries
- Be able to respond to emergency situations such as falls/sudden illness
- To be able to complete factual, thorough daily care records and incident reports
- Liaising with colleagues to ensure that care and support plans are being achieved.
