Registered Manager needed with Gloucestershire County Council


Start Date:


  • ASAP

Location - Gloucester


Duration - Initially 6 months


Hours per week - 37 hours per week


Salary - £24 ltd an hour


Description:


  • To join the Adult Support Services Learning Disability Respite team
  • You will help support the service by leading our Adult Social Care Respite Team to make amazing moments become part of daily life for the people they support
  • To be responsible for the leadership and management of our three CQC 'Good' rated Adult Respite Centres in Gloucester, Cheltenham and Stroud
  • You will be responsible for the operational daytoday management for the service
  • You will ensure high quality service is provided to the vulnerable adults we care for
  • You will promote a culture of positive enabling support across the service and have a passion for making a difference to people's lives
  • You will ensure the services are compliant with CQC standards and with relevant legislation

What is required?

  • Approval certification by CQC
  • Clear and valid driving license or the ability to travel around the county
  • Experience as a Registered Manager in a health or social care setting with vulnerable adults.
  • You will have strong planning and evaluation skills to ensure the services provided are effective at meeting individual needs and the organisation's priorities
  • Significant knowledge and skills relating to safeguarding adult procedures and of managing complex, high risk situations
