Rutherford Briant have partnered with one of Essex's fastest growing businesses and one of the global leaders within their sector.

With a number of recent projects and nearly doubling the size of their team, they are on the lookout for a Finance Managerto head up a small team within their function.

This position will report into the Head Of Finance within a team of 5.

Operating on 3 days in, 2 days from home hybrid model, flexible hours, along with multiple development and progression routes available.

Duties include Management of a small team who are producing financial and management accounts

  • Manager and oversee the preparation of statutory accounts
  • Assist the VAT manager and Tax Manager
  • Support the external and internal auditors when required
  • Responsible for the review and submission of cashflow forecasting
  • Responsible for the preparation and submission of the annual budget whilst supporting the budgeting of the Profit and Loss process
  • Managing stakeholder engagement
  • Identifying and implementing process improvements
  • Preparing and reviewing KPI's for the finance team
The ideal experience Experience in statutory accounting experience and management of a small team

  • Strong analytical skills
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
  • ERP system experience
  • ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualified
