Gi Group Scarborough have an exciting opportunity for an Assistant Management Accountant who will fit right in and complete the Accounts team.

This is a new role and will be key part of the Finance Management team based in Redcar.

Reporting to the Management Accountant you will have experience in the preparation and analysis of monthly management accounts, preparing year-end statutory accounts and liaising with both internal and external auditors to ensure accuracy of accounting informationand robust processes.

The role will be instrumental in preparing revenue and capital budgets along with liaising with budget holders to ensure strong financial and management reporting.

Detailed analysis, performance reporting, ad hoc reporting, and the production of informationfor statutory returns are a strong feature of the role.

This role is both challenging and exciting requiring an individual who is fully or part qualified working towards a senior professional accountancy qualification, or who is qualified by experience.

A proven ability to establish and maintain effective workingrelationships with a range of stakeholders, and to work under pressure to tight deadlines is essential.

The post requires excellent analytical, planning, communication, and IT skills.

You will have a positive, proactive, and forward-thinking approach and be committed to continuous improvement both personally and for team members.

You will be organised with good verbal and written skills, you will be influential and will convey complexitywith ease.
