Housing Officer - Part Time - x2 positions

Aberdeen

£28,109 - £29,589 per year - 30 hours per week (Aberdeen Office)

£17,568 - £18,493 per year hours per week (Mintlaw)
We are looking for two Housing Officers to join our team based in Aberdeen.

As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for ensuring that high quality housing management services are delivered to our residents with a focus on making a real difference to their lives.

This is a varied opportunity that will see you managing a range of situations and helping to build key relationships with internal and external stakeholders, working in a professional manner to resolve problems and improve services.


One role will be based at Aberdeen Office, working for 30 hours per week and the other role will be based at Burnside Court, Mintlaw working 18.75 hours per week.


The role of Housing Officer will include:

  • Delivering a high quality housing management service to tenants, partners and key stakeholders
  • Ensuring arrears targets are met, and allocating void and new let properties
  • Investigating and resolving antisocial behaviour cases
  • Completing estate management weekly inspections
  • Identifying shortfalls in service delivery and putting plans of resolution into place
  • Developing, building and maintaining strong working relationships with tenants, partners and key stakeholders of the business
  • Ensuring compliance with all legislative and regulatory requirements for both social housing and mid market rent management activities

Skills and experiences:


  • Proven experience of undertaking a similar role within housing
  • Knowledge of relevant housing regulations and legislation
  • Proven experience of delivery high quality tenancy services
  • Excellent problemsolving skills with the ability to implement solutions
  • Ability to build strong working relationships with internal and external customers
  • Basic understanding of Microsoft Office packages is essential
  • SVQ3 in relevant area or equivalent qualification
  • Travel is a requirement of the role, therefore a full valid driving licence is essential
