    Job Title: FMCG Production Planner

    My client is seeking an experienced FMCG Production Planner to join their manufacturing team based in Derbyshire. The ideal candidate will have a background in Material/Demand Planning and be passionate about delivering high-quality products.

    Key Responsibilities:

    1. Production Planning: Develop and maintain production schedules based on demand forecasts, capacity, and inventory levels to ensure timely delivery of products to retailers.
    2. Demand Forecasting: Analyze historical sales data and market trends to accurately forecast product demand and adjust production plans accordingly.
    3. Inventory Management: Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with procurement to ensure the availability of raw materials while minimizing excess stock and waste.
    4. Collaboration: Work closely with operations, procurement, sales, and quality assurance teams to align production plans with business objectives and customer requirements.
    5. Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for process optimization and implement best practices to enhance efficiency and productivity within the planning function.
    6. Reporting: Generate and present reports on production performance, inventory status, and other key metrics to senior management.
    7. Compliance: Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, quality standards, and company policies throughout the planning process.
    8. Leadership: Senior planner supports planning manager in day-to-day management and support of the planning team.

    Requirements:

    1. Ideal 3 years of experience in planning within the FMCG industry.
    2. Strong knowledge of Excel and Microsoft Office.
    3. Proven ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines.

    What We Offer:

    • Salary: £25,000 per annum (dependent on experience)
    • Shift Pattern: 3 on 3 off (6am - 6pm) with potential for overtime
