    Model ML is an AI-native workspace initially designed for investment banking, private equity, consultancies, and asset managers. You will work alongside two well-known founders who successfully sold their last two YC-backed companies. Model ML, has already raised double figures from Y Combinator and top-tier venture firms. With strong product-market fit and live production deployments at some of the world's largest and most prestigious institutions, Model ML's team is working around the clock across offices in New York, London, and Hong Kong to become the leading AI application platform for enterprise.

    Soon, all your digital information will be stored in one place. Everything you do, whether that be sending emails, building presentations, having meetings, pulling data, or doing research, will all be underpinned by an AI model that belongs to you. Using Model ML, you'll simply talk to your laptop or phone to get things done.

    The Role:

    We're looking for a world-class Design Lead to define and scale the design function from the ground up. You'll work directly with the founders to shape user experience, system design, and visual identity. This is a hands-on, high-impact role for someone who loves ambiguity, thrives on ownership, and wants to craft the interface of enterprise AI.

    What You'll Be Responsible For:

    Define and lead the product and visual design strategy across the company.

    Translate complex AI workflows into elegant, intuitive user experiences.

    Create and maintain a scalable design system that serves both internal and external users.

    Own the end-to-end design process—from user research to wireframes to pixel-perfect UI.

    Work closely with product, engineering, and marketing to ensure consistency and quality across all touchpoints.

    Uphold and evolve Model ML's visual identity, ensuring every screen, slide, and asset reflects our ambition.

    Set up design operations and standards that can scale with the company.

    What You Can Expect:

    You'll be building from zero—no templates, no red tape.

    Priorities will shift. Deadlines will tighten. You'll be uncomfortable—but constantly learning.

    You'll collaborate directly with the CEO and CTO, influencing product decisions at the highest level.

    It will be the most creatively and intellectually demanding work of your career.

    What We're Looking For:

    6+ years of experience in product design, with a strong portfolio of B2B SaaS or technical products. Experience designing AI product is preferable.

    Ability to distill complexity into clarity—both in user flows and visual hierarchy.

    Experience working closely with engineers and shipping high-quality features at speed.

    A thoughtful, opinionated design aesthetic—but open to iteration and feedback.

    Excellent communication and storytelling skills—you'll be the steward of design thinking at Model ML.
