Summary
Venture Recruitment Partners are working with a very well-known global business in Basingstoke. Our client is looking to recruit an Accounts Receivable Supervisor to join their business on a permanent basis. The role will involve supervision of 3 Accounts Receivable Associates and will focus on overseas entities.


The Role

  • Management and development of the Associates daily.
  • Processing new accounts
  • To motivate, achieve and maintain collection performance against target for individuals and the team.
  • Responsible to ensure the ledger collections on a timely basis with proactive chasing.
  • Weekly reconciliations of the sales ledger to the general ledger
  • Perform credit checks on new customers and monitoring for existing customers.
  • Ownership and resolution of queries
  • Responsibility for month end closing and reconciliation back to the general ledger
  • Reviewing and maintaining accounts on the sales ledger
  • Regular one to ones with the team
  • Ad hoc duties as requested by the manager / business.

  • Requires a minimum of two years of experience within an accounts receivable/billing or credit and collections role.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills are required.

  • Excellent management skills, especially when working under pressure.
  • You will be a teamplayer and comfortable confidently communicating with international and UK suppliers.
  • Requires strong analytical and decisionmaking skills.
  • Requires strong interpersonal skills.
